Since it appears that Darius acquired the book needed by Celeres (was that who needed it?), I was thinking Yan would need a story idea for Thanos.
Much like Nimrod had a grand Atlantean adventure, what about a grand adventure for Thanos. Since Kyot's sources were Arabic, I was thinking that Celeres could ask an additional of Thanos.
I have in my head, this grand tour of sorts for Helena. Thanos's next Redcap season is in 1238, and we could make it more than a season with stops in Provencal, Iberian, Roman and Theban tribunals, with a last stop in the Levant before returning home. I'm thinking that this tour would take a couple of years to complete.
Not sure if we can find a ship captain to take a magus on a tour, after Nimrod's adventure, but we will at least have some destinations in mind...
If you think this sounds doable, then I would have Thanos begin advertising at Tribunal that he will be making this grand tour beginning in 1238, in the event someone wants to use him as a Redcap. He will also notify the House that he will be doing such a tour so that they, too, can take advantage of his itinerary.
